JAMES MARTINEZ / President James is a US Army veteran and former Law Enforcement Officer. He is the founder of Southwestern SPCA and has served in leadership roles for two other Non-Profit organizations. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology as well as a good understanding of California Corporate Regulations. James has excellent leadership skills and great ideas that will help us develop the Southwestern SPCA Humane Society and their Outreach Programs.

MICHAEL RANGEL / V.P. Michael is a retired Los Angeles Police Sergeant and Detective within the Robbery Homicide Unit for the LAPD. He has over 30 years of Criminal Investigation and Law Enforcement experience. Michael has an extensive legal, Law Enforcement and training background. Michael has authored 3 books related to Tactical Planning. He has been developing and advising on a variety of Program Developments, Writing Curriculum and Strategic Planning Functions to include; Crisis Management, Strategy Development and High-Level Negotiations. Michael will be the Chief of Southwestern SPCA & its Humane Officers.

AMY RAINES / BOARD MEMBER Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Forensic Specialist.

MICHELLE HOOD / C.F.O. Michelle’s background is Money-Management and Non-Profit Operations. She has worked diligently with the SPCA tax accountant for Southwestern SPCA Humane Society. As the Chief Financial Officer for Southwestern SPCA, Michelle brings her attention to detail & expertise regarding Grants, Grant Funding, Non-Profit Operations and Information.

BILL END / BOARD MEMBER Bill is a former Law enforcement Officer from the Federal Protective Service and current business owner within the community. He brings an exciting perspective with a great deal of experience and resources to the Board of Directors. He has been instrumental in helping us develop Donations and Community Programs.
